Looks like the project is maintained under a different account now

> It is now hosted at the github site https://github.com/FDH2/UxPlay (where development and user-assistance now takes place)

Yeah, someone trying to put out a clone repo as their own?

bilkow

No, antimof was the original repo, it has just moved. Check the first paragraph of the README (in both the original and new fork).

pseudalopex

No. The main link is the old maintainer's repo. The comment link is the new maintainer's repo.

I love this for easily casting my ipad to my linux desktop. I'm finding there are a handful of areas now where ios->linux UX is better than ios->Mac default UX, this being the primary one.

My use case is to share puzzle solutions with my zoom group for puzzledpint.com (I just put the puzzles in procreate and solve with layers), though I could see it being useful in many other situations.

I've just built it. Seems to work very well out of the box. I would like something similar for native android screen mirroring. But i guess Android requires p2p-wifi, which can be hard to setup on old laptops. Also i would like to integrate this with Kodi on raspi4. Airplay support in kodi is not working at all for me.

The only mentions of AirPlay on that list is UxPlay and RPiPlay (which UxPlay is a fork of).

But you probably knew that, as it is your own blog.

There's also the miracast stuff, which may be interesting to people looking for broader support.
