I always struggled with programming books and guides teaching coding fundamentals. So boring! I really appreciate practical tutorials and projects that teach you how to code by building something useful, not some abstract exercise about how to iterate through a list of strings.
So if I had to start over, I'd probably just make lots of stuff. Solve my own problems, make websites, learn what's going on in the hot frameworks like Svelte, and just immerse myself in building things.
I'm currently someone with an experience in design and I want to learn how to code.
